Independent economics and public policy advisory From the record World Bank, 2023: Enabling Foreign Direct Investment in the Renewable Energy Sector

Home/Our firm

Independent judgment for complex public decisions.

A senior-led advisory model built on economics, policy, institutional understanding, and implementation experience.

The advantage of a focused firm is not appearing larger. It is bringing the right senior attention to the problem.

PSG was created for questions that sit between traditional consulting categories, where economics, government, markets, institutions, and execution must be considered together.

We advise leaders facing high-stakes policy, investment, and delivery choices. Our role is to frame the decision precisely, build the relevant evidence, make trade-offs explicit, and translate the conclusion into a practical course of action.

We are intentionally senior-led. Clients work directly with experienced leadership, supported by fit-for-purpose expertise when the mandate requires it.

How we work

Institutional rigor without institutional drag

  • Independent

We test assumptions and present the evidence as it is, even when the conclusion is inconvenient.

  • Multidisciplinary

We connect economics, political economy, regulation, institutions, strategy, and behavior.

  • Decision-focused

Every workstream must improve a real choice, reduce uncertainty, or strengthen implementation.

  • Context-aware

Recommendations account for institutional capacity, stakeholder incentives, and political reality.

  • Collaborative

We work with client teams to develop usable answers and build ownership of the path forward.

  • Accountable

Senior involvement remains direct from scoping through synthesis and delivery planning.
